Job summary

TransGrid in Australia is seeking a Project Engineer – Grade 2 to lead design, coordination and delivery of major substations and transmission projects across NSW. You will develop technical solutions, manage budgets and schedules, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

With 4–8 years of experience and a degree in electrical engineering, you will mentor junior engineers, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to shaping the energy networks of tomorrow.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineers (preferably electrical) with 4–8 years' experience in large-scale delivery.
• Experience in design, construction and management of complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical expertise in substation or transmission line construction.
• Ability to work autonomously in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
