Job summary

Experis Australia is seeking an EL2 Program Architect to lead a major digital transformation program. The role provides strategic architectural oversight across a portfolio, ensuring alignment of business objectives with enterprise architecture, cyber security, and delivery outcomes.

You will shape enterprise-scale roadmaps, influence strategic decisions, and mentor a team of architects while guiding data platforms, digital services, and compliant capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise, program, or solution architecture in large and complex environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance and design principles.
• Proven experience leading architecture activities across large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience mentoring Solution Architects and Cyber Architects.
• Ability to influence executive-level decision-making with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated program architecture roadmap across multiple designs.
• Provide holistic architectural view across a complex project portfolio, identifying dependencies and risks.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with standards and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture governance activities and technical decision forums.
• Mentor and coach experienced Solution and Cyber Architects.
• Deliver scalable, secure architecture designs aligned to business outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership on architecture and cyber security strategy.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure successful program delivery.
• Maintain technical oversight across delivery and resolve complex challenges.
• Present solutions and recommendations to governance boards and executives.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced EL2 Program Architect to play a critical leadership role within a major digital transformation and fraud prevention program supporting a nationally significant initiative.

Reporting at the executive leadership level, you will provide strategic architectural oversight across a complex portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives, enterprise architecture, cyber security requirements, and technology delivery outcomes.

This role offers the chance to shape enterprise-scale architecture roadmaps, influence strategic decision-making, and mentor a team of highly skilled solution and cyber architects while contributing to innovative digital services, data platforms, and compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated program architecture roadmap that brings together multiple solution and cyber architecture designs.
• Provide a holistic architectural view across a complex project portfolio, identifying dependencies, integration points, and delivery risks.
• Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with organisational strategies, standards, policies, principles, and roadmaps.
• Lead architectural governance activities, facilitating design reviews and technical decision-making forums.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and quality assurance support to experienced Solution and Cyber Architects.
• Deliver high-quality solution architecture designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on architecture and cyber security strategy.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
• Maintain technical oversight across project delivery and assist in resolving complex architectural challenges.
• Present architecture solutions and recommendations to governance boards and executive stakeholders for approval.

About You

• Extensive experience in enterprise, program, or solution architecture within large and complex environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and design principles.
• Proven experience leading architecture activities across large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience mentoring and guiding Solution Architects and Cyber Architects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience delivering architecture outcomes across data platforms, digital services, portals, and integration programs.
• Strong knowledge of security, risk, compliance, and architectural best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
