Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an EL2 Program Architect in Australia to lead enterprise architecture across a major digital transformation and fraud prevention program. The role reports to executive leadership and shapes architecture roadmaps while mentoring a team of solution and cyber architects.

Hybrid work arrangement with a 12-month contract and potential extension. NV1 clearance and EL2 level experience are required to ensure delivery of secure, scalable services and data platforms.

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced EL2 Program Architect to play a critical leadership role within a major digital transformation and fraud prevention program supporting a nationally significant initiative.

Reporting at the executive leadership level, you will provide strategic architectural oversight across a complex portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives, enterprise architecture, cyber security requirements, and technology delivery outcomes.

This role offers the chance to shape enterprise-scale architecture roadmaps, influence strategic decision-making, and mentor a team of highly skilled solution and cyber architects while contributing to innovative digital services, data platforms, and compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As the EL2 Program Architect, you will:

• Develop and maintain an integrated program architecture roadmap that brings together multiple solution and cyber architecture designs.
• Provide a holistic architectural view across a complex project portfolio, identifying dependencies, integration points, and delivery risks.
• Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with organisational strategies, standards, policies, principles, and roadmaps.
• Lead architectural governance activities, facilitating design reviews and technical decision-making forums.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and quality assurance support to experienced Solution and Cyber Architects.
• Deliver high-quality solution architecture designs that are scalable, secure, and aligned to business outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on architecture and cyber security strategy.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
• Maintain technical oversight across project delivery and assist in resolving complex architectural challenges.
• Present architecture solutions and recommendations to governance boards and executive stakeholders for approval.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in enterprise, program, or solution architecture within large and complex environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and design principles.
• Proven experience leading architecture activities across large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience mentoring and guiding Solution Architects and Cyber Architects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience delivering architecture outcomes across data platforms, digital services, portals, and integration programs.
• Strong knowledge of security, risk, compliance, and architectural best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Desirable Experience

Highly regarded experience includes:

• Government or public sector experience.
• Fraud detection, compliance, integrity, or risk management programs.
• Complex data and analytics platforms.
• Digital service delivery and customer-facing portal solutions.
• Large-scale transformation and modernisation initiatives.
