Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Principal Engineer- Data to lead and deliver advanced data solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will drive modern data architectures, automate delivery, and leverage LAB3's MDp products to build client solutions.

Candidates must hold active NV1 Security Clearance and can be based anywhere in Australia; you will engage with C-suite stakeholders, mentor engineers, and shape cloud data strategy across engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering data solutions on Microsoft Azure at scale.
• Ability to lead client engagements and mentor engineers.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical data assessments and Azure-based implementations.
• Architect ingestion, data pipelines, and enterprise data warehousing patterns.
• Present findings to executives and guide architectural roadmaps.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, project teams and contribute to proposals.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
