Job summary

UnitingCare Community seeks a Lead Practitioner to mentor a team of Disability Support Practitioners in Chermside. You will lead day-to-day operations, safeguard clients, manage resources, and collaborate with families to support everyday living in line with NDIS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications in the Human Services field.
• Experience mentoring staff, managing budgets, and reporting.
• Knowledge of disability service legislation and safeguarding.
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, lead and manage a team of Disability Support Practitioners.
• Ensure safe, efficient day-to-day management of resources (staff, records, budget, buildings).
