Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join the project controls team in Perth, Australia. You will lead strategic planning, portfolio scheduling and schedule governance across multiple brownfield and offshore projects, delivering integrated schedules and critical insights for decisions.

You will apply Primavera P6 expertise to drive risk analysis, resource forecasting, and planning maturity across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning streams.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning and scheduling experience in Oil & Gas, energy or major capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 in complex project environments.
• Proven ability in Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Integrated Activity Planning (IAP).
• Experience in brownfield and offshore facilities is highly desirable.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join a high-performing project delivery team supporting a portfolio of complex brownfield and offshore projects. This position will play a key role in driving integrated planning, project controls, schedule governance, and portfolio reporting across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, project controls teams, and key stakeholders to develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules while providing critical insights that support decision-making and successful project delivery.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Facilitate schedule reviews, planning workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Support brownfield project execution and offshore operational activities.
• Develop resource forecasts and capacity planning models to support project delivery.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor schedule performance and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.

About You

• Years of experience in planning and scheduling within Oil & Gas, Energy, Resources, Offshore, or Major Capital Projects.
• Extensive experience using Primavera P6 in complex project environments.
• Strong experience in Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Integrated Activity Planning (IAP).
• Proven background supporting brownfield projects and offshore facilities.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing integrated schedules across multiple concurrent projects.
• Exposure to TIC-based project controls environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• FPSO, LNG, offshore production facilities, or operating asset experience.
• Experience working within owner/operator integrated teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies across engineering and construction projects.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience within planning and project controls teams.
