Job summary

Mid North Coast Local Health District in Dorrigo NSW is seeking an Occupational Therapist Level 3 for a temporary part-time role (16 hours per week) from 12 Oct 2026 to 01 Nov 2027.

You will provide and coordinate occupational therapy services for inpatients, outpatients and community clients, lead quality improvement projects and supervise junior staff, in accordance with professional ethics and district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
• Experience in planning, implementation and evaluation of occupational therapy services across diverse settings
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team and provide supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate occupational therapy services for inpatients, outpatients and community clients.
• Contribute to service development by identifying, leading and evaluating quality improvement projects and providing professional oversight to junior staff.
