Morgan Consulting in Sydney, NSW, seeks a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Australia.

Join a team of experienced engineers, take ownership from concept through commissioning, mentor junior staff and contribute to technical decisions. Flexible office locations and a collaborative, hands-on design culture are offered.

Formación

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 8 to 12+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong experience in the Australian water and wastewater industry.
• Proven background in mechanical design within an engineering consultancy.
• Experience with pumping systems, hydraulic design, piping and mechanical equipment selection.
• Understanding of Australian engineering standards and water industry requirements.
• Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning.
• Chartered or RPEQ registration would be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Leading mechanical design across water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Designing pumping systems, pipework and associated mechanical equipment.
• Preparing engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
• Working on projects from concept design through to commissioning and handover.
• Conducting technical reviews and identifying opportunities to improve designs.
• Collaborating with civil, process, structural and electrical engineers.
• Providing technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the wider engineering team.
