Job summary

Melton City Council in Victoria is seeking a leader for the Landscape Architecture team to design public landscapes and guide capital works in public realm and open spaces.

You will report to the Design & Investigations Coordinator, delivering liveability improvements for a growing community with a strong focus on engagement and collaboration. A relevant degree and driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in landscape architecture with substantial experience.
• Experience in site analysis, landscape design, development, documentation and supervision.
• Ability to lead briefs, plans, budgets and timeframes with high quality outputs.
• Current valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Landscape Architecture team, delivering public landscape projects.
• Manage plans, guidelines and funding submissions for capital works.
• Review landscape drawings, specs and cost estimates with consultants.
• Provide landscape architectural advice across cross‑department projects.
• Support stakeholder and community engagement for public realm improvements.
