Job summary

The Northern Land Council seeks a Manager - Partnerships and Enterprise Development to lead cross-disciplinary work with Traditional Owners, governments and industry. You will drive strategic partnerships, environmental markets, research collaborations and enterprise initiatives while ensuring governance and accountability across delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience and ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong capabilities in partnerships, negotiations and stakeholder engagement across government, Aboriginal organisations, industry, research and funding sectors.
• Experience in environmental markets, natural resource management, conservation or related fields.
• Understanding Aboriginal governance frameworks and ICIP principles, with culturally appropriate engagement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead work at the intersection of Traditional Owner governance, land and sea management, strategic partnerships and sustainable enterprise development.
• Lead complex negotiations and strengthen relationships across government, Aboriginal organisations, industry, research and funding sectors.
• Translate organisational strategy into actionable priorities with governance and financial oversight for delivery.
• Lead and develop managers and senior specialists, promote culturally safe and Traditional Owner-centred practice, represent NLC in high-level forums.
