You will build an internationally visible research profile, pursue external funding, and contribute to the School and MIG leadership, while mentoring honours, MSc and PhD students.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in statistics or related quantitative discipline.
• Strong publication record in statistical methodology or computational biology.
• Develop novel statistical methods for high dimensional data including genomics/transcriptomics.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independent, high impact research programme in statistics for omics.
• Publish in leading venues and seek external funding.
• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate statistics/data science courses.
• Supervise honours, MSc and PhD students.
• Contribute to School/Faculty leadership and engagement.
