Job summary

Qube Bulk is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join the road crew and haulage team at the Thunderbox mine site in the Northern Goldfields. This FIFO role from Perth offers 8-on/6-off day shifts, camp accommodation, meals, flights provided, and competitive hourly rates.

You will supervise daily work areas, assess risks, coordinate heavy transport activities, and support safety and compliance with chain of responsibility across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• HR driver’s license required.
• 1–2 years leading hand experience.
• Experience in mining & heavy transport.
• Experience allocating daily work and risk related to road maintenance.
• Heavy haulage driving or operating heavy machinery (grader/front-end loader).
• Ability to develop and implement project plans within budget.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and chain of responsibility.
• National Police Clearance within 12 months.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
