Job summary

Qube is seeking experienced MC Drivers for the Thunderbox site in the Northern Goldfields region. The roles involve operating triple and quad road trains both on and off road to transport ore across the region.

These are full-time FIFO positions with a set 2-weeks on/1-week off roster, day and night shifts. Accommodation, meals, and flights are provided, with ongoing development opportunities and access to industry-leading equipment.

Qualifications

• Current MC Licence is essential.
• Experience operating triple and quad road trains.
• Experience with side-tippers and/or belly-dumpers is highly regarded.
• National Police Clearance dated within 12 months of application is preferred.
• WA Fatigue Management Certificate dated within last 3 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate triple and quad road trains on/off road to transport ore.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with other operators.
• Adhere to load restraint guidelines and safety procedures.
• Pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

What's the role?We are looking for experienced MC Drivers to join the well-established Qube team in the Northern Goldfields region at the Thunderbox site operations. These positions will primarily involve the operation of triple and quad road trains, on and off road, to transport ore throughout the region.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

• Current MC Licence
• Must have prior experience operating triple & quad road train combinations
• Must have prior experience with side-tippers and/or belly-dumpers.
• Prior experience operating CAT 972, CAT 980, Komatsu WA 500 or similar – highly regarded
• National Police Clearance – dated within 12 months of application
• WA Fatigue Management Certificate – dated within last 3 years
• Current Front-End Loader & Forklift tickets – highly regarded
• Ability to change own tyres when required (equipment & tools provided)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Ability to communicate effectively with other operators
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
• Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
• Good mechanical aptitude
