VAU Versent Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to design, implement, and drive scalable digital solutions on AWS. You will lead a small team, collaborate with product managers and designers, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals.

Required: deep AWS experience (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, AWS CDK), strong back-end skills in TypeScript (Node.js) and Python, and familiarity with React or Angular.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with core AWS services including Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and AWS CDK.
• Strong backend skills in TypeScript (Node.js) and Python; frontend familiarity with React or Angular.
• Proven track record leading teams, delivering Agile projects, and documenting designs.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and infra as code.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of secure, scalable digital solutions on AWS.
• Provide hands-on guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Lead to design solutions for business use cases.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on goals.
• Manage backlog, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Mentor team members and promote platform standards.
