Job summary

Coredna in Melbourne seeks a Lead Frontend Engineer to drive the frontend strategy and execution for our headless CMS/Ecommerce platform. You will shape user experiences, lead complex frontend problems, and mentor peers to deliver scalable, high-quality interfaces.

The role requires extensive experience with modern frontend tech, JAMStack, and API-first development, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position based on-site in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of frontend development experience.
• Extensive experience with HTML, JavaScript, SCSS/SASS/LESS, and build tools like Gulp and Webpack.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Commitment to best design and coding practices and ability to develop bold ideas.

Requirements

What you’ll need to have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• At least 7 years of the front end development experience
• Extensive experience with front end web technologies like html, Javascript, SCSS/SASS/LESS, Build systems: Gulp and Webpack. Latest Jamstack frameworks
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture/Web Services – REST / GraphQL
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

• Experienced in the delivery of web based Solutions for customers/partners
• Detail oriented, outcome driven problem solver
• Well versed with working within agile environments
• Comfortable sharing your solutions with internal and external teams
• Highly self-motivated and able to maintain a high degree of autonomy while also contributing to a dynamic team environment
• Experienced in API first Content management and eCommerce platforms
