Job summary

FindMeA Pty Ltd in Queensland's Moreton Bay region seeks a Principal Engineer to lead floodplain management, deliver technical solutions, and mentor a team of engineers. Immediate start for a contract through 29 January 2027 with potential extension.

You will drive floodplain modelling, infrastructure planning and design while coordinating with stakeholders to shape resilient communities and protect critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in floodplain management, infrastructure planning and design.
• Strong technical knowledge of floodplain modelling and management practices.
• Experience preparing and presenting complex technical reports and recommendations.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
