Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an experienced events professional to act as an event generalist. You will support the event production team and customers, applying best practices and strategic analysis to optimize resource use.

The role requires 6+ years coordinating events, a related degree or equivalent experience, and strong writing and communication skills. Travel willingness and adherence to company values are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Acts as event generalist within focus area, providing support, information, and guidance to event production team and customers.

Required Qualifications

• Event Production related degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years’ experience coordinating events.
• Demonstrated event planning expert among peers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and department-specific software.
• Excellent organization and customer service skills.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Negative drug test result(s).
