Job summary

Network Rail Consulting is seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to drive ETCS Level 2 Trackside delivery within the Digital Systems Program in Sydney. You will lead a team of engineers, manage interfaces, and advise on system integration with other subsystems and legacy signalling infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings significant ETCS Trackside experience, strong railway signalling background, and proven ability to deliver rail projects safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Significant ETCS Trackside experience on complex railway signalling projects.
• Strong railway signalling engineering background with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ETCS L2 systems and interfaces across multiple subsystems.
• Proven ability to deliver rail infrastructure projects to time, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead ETCS L2 Trackside engineering activities for the Digital Systems Program (DSP).
• Own Trackside deliverables, interfaces and engineering activities to meet milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure integration with TMS and other subsystems.
• Oversee development, approvals, interfaces and verification activities for Trackside systems.
• Support testing, commissioning, and entry-into-service activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
