The Department of Health Tasmania seeks a Manager - Epidemiology and Surveillance to lead a complex public health program, providing strategic oversight of communicable diseases epidemiology and notifiable conditions.

You will guide a multi-professional team, build stakeholder networks across Public Health Services and the Tasmanian health system, and drive policy, governance and continuous service improvement in line with national requirements.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in communicable disease epidemiology and surveillance are required.
• Ability to lead a multi-professional team and inform decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaison with a broad range of stakeholders.
