Onterris, a leading global environmental solutions company, seeks a Principal Environmental Scientist in Sydney. You will join the Assessment and Approvals team to manage a full range of activities and mentor the Sydney Approvals group.

You will work with industry leaders and auditors, developing client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes across environmental regulatory projects. The role offers collaboration, career progression, and a strong focus on environmental integrity.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional experience in a consulting setting.
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Planning or related field.
• Extensive experience with regulatory approvals within New South Wales.
• Experience in infrastructure and/or resource sector approvals.
• Proven experience with EIS, State and Commonwealth approvals.

Responsabilités

• Being a pivotal part of growing and mentoring the Sydney Approvals team.
• Performing business development by bringing in new clients to the business.
• Presenting and leading external meetings with clients.
• Successfully managing multiple projects at any one time.
• Developing and reviewing quality management systems.
