Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Riverstone, NSW, is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead high-quality learning experiences for children. You will plan engaging programs, mentor staff, and partner with families to support safety, inclusion and school readiness.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm on a rotating roster, and requires ACECQA-approved qualification, NSW WWCC, and current first aid certificates to ensure child safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification as a minimum
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS and relevant NSW legislation

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with EYLF, NQS and curriculum
• Lead reflective practice and mentor educators to strengthen teaching practice
• Observe and document children's learning, promoting inclusion and school readiness
• Maintain active supervision and promote child safety and safeguarding
• Build positive partnerships with children, families and the wider community
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a collaborative team culture
