Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre in Greystanes is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead learning experiences aligned with EYLF and NQS. You will mentor educators, deliver high-quality programs and support children's wellbeing.

This full-time role requires ACECQA approval, current NSW WWCC, and First Aid/Child Protection certificates, with a rotating 6:30am–6:00pm roster.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification in early childhood teaching.
• Current NSW WWCC and NESA accreditation.
• First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Food Handler Basics Training Certificate.
• Commitment to EYLF, NQS and child safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF, NQS and Young Academics' curriculum.
• Lead reflective practice and mentor educators to strengthen teaching practice and educational outcomes.
• Observe and document children's learning and development, promoting inclusion, independence and school readiness.
• Maintain active supervision and promote high standards of child safety and safeguarding.
• Build positive partnerships with children, families and the wider community.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive, collaborative team culture.

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 45 centres across New South Wales. We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Greystanes team.

About The Role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create meaningful learning experiences that support children's learning, development, safety and wellbeing. You will lead high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF, NQS and Young Academics' curriculum while mentoring educators and strengthening teaching practice.

You will work collaboratively with children, families and your team to create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

This position is a full-time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6:00 pm (rotating roster).

About You

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (Bachelor degree or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant legislation.
• Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and National Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Current Food Handler Basics Training Certificate.
