Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to deliver engaging play-based learning across our 11 centres. You will provide pedagogical leadership, mentor staff and collaborate with families to support children's learning, development and wellbeing.

This full-time permanent role offers variety across services, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality outcomes within the National Quality Framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Current NESA Teacher Accreditation.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Current Child Protection Training.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inclusive and play-based learning programs across multiple centres.
• Provide pedagogical leadership and mentor educators.
• Support services in maintaining excellence under the National Quality Framework.
