Job summary

First Steps in Gatton QLD is seeking a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator and an ECT to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will provide high-quality care and education, planning engaging programmes to support children's development and wellbeing.

You will document progress, communicate with families, adhere to childcare regulations, collaborate with the team, pursue professional development, and enjoy a competitive salary, staff discounts, and a family-friendly work

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children certifications.
• Experience planning age-appropriate learning activities and documenting progress.
• Excellent communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging learning programmes fostering cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
• Provide a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and play.
• Observe and document children's progress and communicate with families.
• Adhere to childcare regulations and centre policies to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver a cohesive, high-quality early learning experience.
• Participate in professional development to continually enhance skills.
