Job summary

Impact Drill & Blast is seeking a trade-qualified Drill Fitter to support our NT and WA operations. You will lead repairs and preventive maintenance on drill rigs, vehicles, and mobile plant in accordance with OEM guidelines, maximizing reliability and uptime.

Candidates with Cert III in Mechanical/Auto/Electrician and 3+ years of field service experience are preferred. FIFO even-time rosters and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter with proven drill rig repair experience.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of drill rigs, vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead repairs and preventive maintenance on drill rigs and mobile equipment.
• Manage breakdowns to maximise productivity.
• Oversee data input/output in the MEX maintenance system.
