Job summary

BHP's Goonyella Riverside Mine in Bowen Basin invites applications for a Dozer Push Production Crew lead. You will manage a team of experienced operators, ensure safe execution of the mine plan, and drive production targets while fostering a high-performing culture on a 7/7 day/night roster.

You will oversee semi-autonomous dozer operations using CAT command technology from the central control room, promoting continuous improvement and safety in all activities.

Qualifications

• Coal industry experience, Dragline and Bulk Dozer Push operations.
• Cert IV Training & Assessment.
• Experience with semi-autonomous tractor system (SATS) dozers using CAT command technology.
• Leadership experience with people management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of experienced operators and develop the teams’ skills.
• Apply a continuous improvement approach to operating philosophy and processes.
• Lead by example, promote collaboration and a safety-first culture.
• Oversee a fleet of semi-autonomous dozers via CAT command technology from the on-site control room.
