You will oversee diesel repairs and scheduled maintenance on Volvo/Scania equipment, ensure safety, accuracy of records, and drive continuous improvement in a bustling workshop.

The role offers a full-time on-site position in Western Australia, with field-service support tools and a strong safety culture in a growing mining-support business.

Qualifications

• Lead the trades team in workshop safety and quality.
• Carry out diesel mechanic work on heavy equipment with accurate records.
• Supervise small teams and oversee job allocations.
• Strong safety mindset and process-minded approach.
• Upskill and train in a unique explosives-industry context.

Responsibilities

• Review priorities with the Supervisor and allocate work to the trades team.
• Coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
• Check progress, maintain records, and report issues.
• Attend team meetings and review workload and upcoming priorities.
• Ensure safe, quality, and productive delivery of diesel mechanic work.
