As our DevOps Lead, you’ll combine hands‑on technical expertise with people leadership to drive automation, strengthen our cloud infrastructure and make software delivery faster, more reliable and secure. You’ll develop your team and partner with AI, infrastructure and security specialists to turn ideas into meaningful improvements
Lead and develop the DevOps team, setting engineering standards, prioritising work and building capability through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation to support fast, reliable and secure software releases across cloud and on‑premise environments.
Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, improving scalability, resilience and cost efficiency across AWS, Azure and VMware.
Manage Kubernetes environments and containerised applications, ensuring availability, security and effective disaster recovery.
Strengthen monitoring, observability and incident response to proactively identify issues, resolve problems and improve system performance.
Partner with AI development, infrastructure and security teams to improve developer tools, embed security into delivery workflows and meet APRA CPS 234 and ISO 27001 requirements.

At least 7 years’ IT experience, including 5 years in DevOps, site reliability engineering or cloud infrastructure, and 3 years leading, supervising or formally mentoring a technical team.
Strong hands‑on expertise across AWS and Azure hybrid environments, Terraform, Ansible, Linux and scripting, with experience managing containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools, applying GitOps and progressive delivery practices, and supporting microservices, serverless computing and APIs.
A security‑focused approach, with experience applying cloud security frameworks, managing risk and disaster recovery, and holding your team accountable for secure, reliable delivery.
Strong communication, troubleshooting and prioritisation skills, with the ability to coach others, engage senior stakeholders and clearly document technical solutions. Basic AI or LLM knowledge is expected, ideally with practical application in pipelines or operations.
