Job summary

Central Coast Council is seeking a Senior Development Planner to mentor and support other planners while providing high-level professional advice on development, property and land use matters. You will assess complex development applications, coordinate major projects and represent Council in planning forums to deliver sustainable outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline with strong planning principles, legislation and development assessment.
• Contemporary experience in a similar planning role with commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Membership of or eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities
