Job summary

Amida Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design process on major data centre projects. You will coordinate design development with consultants and site teams to keep programs on track and deliverables aligned with construction milestones.

The role requires a strong track record in design management on large buildings, ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a practical approach to resolving coordination and buildability issues while ensuring information

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Manager on major building projects.
• Ideally from Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor, or equivalent with strong design management.
• Strong understanding of design coordination and the construction process.
• Comfortable managing consultants and multiple stakeholders.
• Able to identify design issues early and work through practical solutions.
• Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar.
