Job summary

National Dental Care (NDC) is seeking a Lead Dentist to deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical care in line with Australian standards. You will work 4-5 days per week, with Saturdays mandatory, contributing to outcomes and the practice's clinical and commercial success.

You will provide comprehensive examinations, diagnoses and a wide range of procedures, while maintaining excellent patient communication and collaborative teamwork with staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide a wide range of dental procedures within scope and in line with Dental Board of Australia requirements.
• Educate, inform and engage patients to support understanding of treatment options and preventive care.
• Refer patients to specialist clinicians where clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, reception teams and practice leadership to ensure seamless patient care.
• Contribute to practice efficiency, patient experience and the delivery of high-quality clinical services.

Job Description

We're seeking a Lead Dentist who is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care in line with Australian professional, legal and ethical standards. Working 4-5 days per week (with Saturdays as a must), the role supports excellent patient outcomes, contributes to the clinical and commercial success of the practice, and helps foster a collaborative, safe and respectful team environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Qualifications & Experience

• Current (or eligible) AHPRA registration as a Dentist or working towards registration
• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a practising Dentist, with strong capability across general dentistry
