Job summary

Newton is expanding into Australia and seeking Lead or Principal Consultants to help build our Australian business by developing trusted client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering lasting outcomes for defence clients.

In this role you will lead complex workstreams, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver $2m-$5m+ in client value. You will work on site in Australia, building lasting client capability and ensuring alignment with programme goals.

Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience in operational excellence and outcome-focused delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex workstreams and manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and sponsor programmes to meet KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day governance with clients and internal teams to keep delivery on track.
• Drive improvement and value delivery, including repeat engagements across Defence clients.
• Present assessment outputs clearly to enable progression of next steps and client buy-in.
