Job summary

Newtonimpact is expanding into Australia and seeks Lead or Principal Consultants to build the Australian business, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver measurable client value across defence clients.

You will manage 4–8 consultants, drive diagnostics and multi-year transformation programmes, and collaborate with programme leads to ensure outcomes align with client goals. Based in Australia, travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex transformations.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Manage teams of consultants (4–8) and align workstreams with programme goals.
• Build trusted client relationships and present to executives.
• Work on site in Australia and travel as needed.
• Identify opportunities for future work and support market engagement.
• Demonstrate delivery of operational excellence and defence sector transformations.
