Job summary

Publicis Sapient Melbourne seeks a Manager Data Architect to design and implement scalable data solutions enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities. You’ll define data architecture, optimize pipelines, ensure governance, and drive data strategy across cloud and on-premise environments.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor delivery staff, and stay ahead of trends in cloud-based data engineering to deliver high-value outcomes for clients and their customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Flink or similar).
• Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and current state to design scalable enterprise data architectures.
• Validate designs with client SMEs and translate into roadmaps and business value.
• Lead data quality, lineage, and master data management initiatives and governance practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and engineers to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure integration of data across cloud services and on-premise apps with varied formats.
