Job summary

tekFinder is seeking a Snowflake Architect to design and deliver Snowflake-based data platforms end to end for enterprise clients across financial services, government, and retail. You will own architecture decisions, from virtual warehouses through to security and clustering strategies, collaborating with data architects and modellers.

This role sits at the forefront of Australia’s Snowflake practice with a strong pipeline and AI-enhanced platform work.

Qualifications

• Deep Snowflake architecture experience including virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning, RBAC, clustering and query optimisation.
• Hands-on with modern tooling: dbt, Fivetran, or Coalesce.
• Cloud integration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Australian citizenship or PR

Snowflake Architect | Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra | Up to ~$220k inc. super

The role:

Design and deliver Snowflake-based data platforms end to end for major enterprise clients across financial services, government, and retail. You'll own architecture decisions, from virtual warehouses through to security and clustering strategy, while working alongside data architects and modellers to shape how these platforms get built.

One of the most active Snowflake practices in Australia right now, backed by a run of industry recognition and a genuinely deep pipeline of enterprise-scale work. AI is being built into the platform work as standard, not bolted on, so there's real scope to work across Cortex and vector search rather than just hear about it in a roadmap deck.

Must have:

• Deep Snowflake architecture experience: virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning, RBAC, clustering strategy, query optimisation
• Hands-on with modern tooling: dbt, Fivetran, or Coalesce
• Cloud integration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Comfortable in client-facing, presales, or stakeholder-facing contexts
• Australian citizenship or PR

Must not be:

• Someone who's only worked Snowflake at a surface, querying level
• Someone without genuine architecture ownership, not just "involved in" decisions
• Vendor-only background with no enterprise delivery context
