Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Concrete Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Wallaroo plant. You will lead batching, mixing, loading, and QC activities while maintaining safety and production targets.

Ideal candidates bring supervision experience, knowledge of batching equipment, and WHS compliance. The role requires strong communication with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in concrete plant operations and/or a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of concrete batching plant equipment, processes, and quality control procedures.
• Relevant tickets and qualifications (e.g., White Card, FEL, forklift license) are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong safety mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols.
• Confident communicator with great stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing, and loading operations.
• Ensure the quality control of all raw materials and finished products, conducting regular tests and inspections.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures, fostering a safe working environment for all staff.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of plant operators and support staff, ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete to customer sites.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and maintenance reports.
