Job summary

Key Health Medical Centres in St Leonards is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead a busy clinic and support doctors, clinicians and reception teams. You will own day-to-day operations, drive KPI performance, manage staff rostering, oversee medical software, and ensure compliance and exceptional patient service in a modern healthcare environment.

This full-time role offers a supportive leadership team and opportunities to shape systems and practice performance within the Key Health

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Senior Medical Receptionist.
• Experience in people management or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of medical practice operations.
• Experience with Best Practice or similar medical software.
• Understanding of Medicare, private health, billing and out-of-pocket fees.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the reception and nursing teams.
• Recruit, onboard, train and support new team members.
• Oversee daily reception and clinic operations.
• Coordinate induction of doctors and registrars.
• Act as the main contact for staff and patient queries/complaints.
• Monitor and drive practice KPIs and performance.
• Manage staff rostering for clinic coverage.
• Review and improve systems and processes across the practice.
• Maintain high standards of patient service and clinical support.
