Job summary

CGC Recruitment is partnering with a Sydney-based Tier 3 civil contractor to deliver a $15 million Sydney Water pipeline project. The Senior Project Engineer will lead on-site delivery, coordinate planning and construction activities, and manage subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and timely project outcomes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and proven experience in civil infrastructure or water/pipeline projects, with a strong focus on cost control and delivery

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
Experience on water infrastructure or pipeline projects is preferred.
Strong planning and cost-control capabilities are essential.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Leading delivery of the Sydney Water pipeline project and overseeing day-to-day site operations.
Coordinate planning, programming and construction activities.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
Monitor costs, budgets and progress claims.
Ensure compliance with QA, safety and environmental requirements.
Maintain project documentation, reporting and client relationships.
Provide leadership to site-based engineering and delivery teams.
