Job summary

The Constructive Collective is seeking a senior civil engineer to provide technical leadership across a range of civil projects in NSW. You will lead planning and delivery, coordinating internal teams, consultants and contractors to meet budget, program and quality standards.

Responsibilities include budgets, invoicing, variations, liaising with authorities, and acting as Contract Superintendent and Contract Administrator.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering is required.
5–10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong civil engineering background, ideally with civil contractor exposure.
Solid understanding of construction industry practices, contracts and legislation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across civil engineering projects.
Lead project planning, execution and delivery within budget, program and quality standards.
Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
Manage project budgets, forecasting, invoicing and variations.
Liaise with authorities and service providers for approvals.
Act as Contract Superintendent, Principal's Representative and Contract Administrator.
Prepare tender docs, technical reports, drawings and specs.
Conduct site inspections and report progress and performance.
Chair project meetings and manage budget/program updates.
Build and maintain client relationships; support business development.
Mentor and support junior engineers.
