Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Civil or equivalent.
• Current Construction White Card and driver’s licence.
• Experience leading civil road/earthworks projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of project engineering activities, construction methodologies and site works.
• Support development, monitoring and updating of project programs to hit milestones and delivery targets.
• Ensure activities comply with legislation, regulations, Australian Standards, specifications and contracts.
• Coordinate employees, subcontractors, procurement, materials, plant and equipment for project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to the project team and resolve engineering, construction and design issues.
• Manage project documentation including quality records, submissions, RFIs, site instructions and reporting.
• Assist with contract administration, subcontractor management, procurement, variations and scope changes.
• Monitor costs, quantities and productivity, contribute to monthly financial assessments and forecasts.
• Review designs, drawings, specifications and construction methodologies for safe, efficient delivery.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are met by all personnel and equipment.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers to support ongoing development.
