Job summary

Core Talent seeks an experienced Concreter/Leading Hand to join a family-owned civil contractor. The role involves delivering footpaths, driveways and other concrete works across Brisbane Northside, coordinating a small crew and taking ownership of a fully equipped concrete truck.

Ideal candidates have proven civil concreting experience, strong formwork and finishing skills, and the ability to set out and complete works independently. MR licence is valued; early starts and callouts may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven concreting experience within civil construction or subdivision projects.
• Strong experience in formwork, boxing, preparation and concrete finishing.
• Ability to independently set out, organise and complete concrete works.
• Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Complete concrete footpaths, driveways and other civil works to council specs.
• Construct bio basin forebays, stormwater manholes and related structures.
• Undertake formwork, boxing, reinforcement, set-out and concrete prep.
• Coordinate a small crew and manage daily site activities.
• Organise materials, equipment and daily work requirements.
• Operate machinery and assist with civil prep where required.
