Job summary

Mayfield Childcare Limited, Home Hill, Queensland, is seeking a Diploma qualified Group Leader to join Mayfield Early Education Home Hill on a full-time basis. You will lead a room of Educators, plan and deliver EYLF-aligned play-based programs, and support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a warm, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved qualification or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an early childhood setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to contribute to a positive, compliant, and high-quality learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based learning programs aligned with EYLF.
• Lead a team of Educators in your room to deliver programs.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Contribute to documentation, observations, and learning outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Maintain compliance with the NQF and service policies.
• Work across operating hours on a rotating roster between 6:30am – 6:30pm.
