Job summary

Eden Academy Fraser Rise invites a passionate Chef to lead our commercial-style kitchen and nourish 112 curious little foodies from 6:30am to 6:30pm. Design, prepare and deliver nutritious menus while ensuring safety and cleanliness in a vibrant childcare environment.

You will bring a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Hospitality), Food Safety, and a Working with Children Check, plus experience in menu creation, bulk meal prep, stock control and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Must hold Food Safety Certificate.
• Must have Working with Children Check and Australian working rights.
• Experience with menu creation and bulk meal preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals in line with nutrition guidelines and centre requirements.
• Cater to diverse dietary needs with confidence and care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Engage with children and educators to promote healthy eating habits.
• Build genuine connections with families and create a sense of community.
