Job summary

Kylock Constructions in Moreton Bay and North Brisbane is seeking a Carpenter / Leading Hand to lead a small crew across outdoor construction projects. You will read plans, set out works and ensure high workmanship standards while coordinating materials and onsite activities.

This hands-on role offers a genuine four-day working week (Mon–Thu) with Fridays off, strong remuneration, and opportunities to progress as the business grows. You will help develop apprentices and own the finished product.

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter preferred with broad construction experience.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence required.
• Own basic hand tools and reliable transport.
• Ability to work outdoors and undertake physical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small onsite crew and coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Read plans, measurements and levels; set out works.
• Maintain quality and workmanship; keep jobs moving.
• Coordinate materials/equipment and onsite safety.
• Develop apprentices and lead by example.
