Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to design scalable, standardized workflows across pricing, billing and WIP management. Based in Melbourne/Naarm or Sydney/Gadigal, you will lead process mapping and financial operations analysis with cross-functional stakeholders to transform the client engagement lifecycle.

You’ll partner with teams to define future-state operating models, governance, and automation opportunities, while strengthening controls and driving value across finance

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in process mapping and re-designing workflows.
  • Proven track record delivering complex change initiatives at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives and build trusted advisor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, process mapping and analysis across pricing, job setup, WIP management and billing.
  • Assess current-state processes to develop future-state operating models and designs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit, validate and document requirements.
  • Develop future-state journeys, procedures, control frameworks and service designs.
  • Analyze pain points and propose improvements for commercial outcomes and user experience.
  • Prepare artefacts and recommendations to support delivery with end-to-end traceability.

Whatyou’lldo:

  • Lead discovery, process mapping and analysis activities across pricing, job setup, WIP management and billing processes,identifyinginefficiencies, control gaps,risksand opportunities forstandardisation.

  • Assess current-state financial operations processes, controls, decision points, dataflowsand stakeholder interactions to develop future-state operating models and process designs.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit,validateand document business, functional and reporting requirements that support financial operations transformation and risk assessment uplift initiatives.

  • Develop future-state customer journeys, process maps, operating procedures, controlframeworksand service designs that improve workflow efficiency, strengthengovernance,and enable automation opportunities.

  • Analysepain points, root causes and process variation across financial operations activities, providing recommendations to improve commercial outcomes, operationalperformance,and user experience.

  • Prepare business analysis artefacts, process documentation, impactassessmentsand implementation recommendations to support the successful delivery of transformation outcomes, ensuring end-to-end traceability,alignmentand integration across the Client Engagement Lifecycle.

  • Strong experience in process mapping and re-designing workflows.

  • Proventrack recorddelivering complex change initiatives and achieving adoption at scale.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior executives, building trusted advisor relationships.

Desirable skills

  • Working knowledge of enterprise finance,workflowand reporting systems (e.g.pricing and revenue management, billing,financeand invoicing,PowerBIetc.), with the ability toanalysesystem impacts, process dependencies, integrationpointsand opportunities for process improvement across finance functions.
