Job summary

University of New South Wales Canberra program seeks an experienced Lead Business Analyst to design and implement operating model evolution, aligning local needs with enterprise-wide standards across multiple sites. You will translate business architecture into governance, process, technology and performance frameworks.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, drive change, and provide strategic advice to executives to enable transformation and improved business

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leading business analysis teams.
• 7+ years in operating model design or enterprise workforce transformation.
• Strong analytical, facilitation and documentation skills.
• Proven consultation, influencing and negotiation with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Canberra City Precinct operating model work, translating business architecture into governance and performance frameworks.
• Conduct current-state assessments, gap analyses, and future-state modelling to inform recommendations and business cases.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with faculties, divisions, and partners to balance local and enterprise needs.
• Provide strategic advisory and coaching to leaders through organisational change.
• Contribute to systems and tools to enhance operating model effectiveness and organisational capability.
• Define KPIs, dashboards and continuous improvement mechanisms to monitor performance.
