Job summary

Cardijn College Marian at Noarlunga Downs, SA, is seeking an outstanding educator to become Basketball Coordinator and lead the College's Basketball Academy. This permanent teaching position includes a POR 1 leadership appointment and a 1.0 FTE allocation (0.9 teaching / 0.1 leadership release).

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Teacher Registration is required.
• Experience leading a basketball or sports program is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaborative skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Basketball Academy program and curriculum.
• Provide coaching, mentorship and leadership development for students.
• Support basketball teaching staff through collaboration and curriculum development.
• Develop partnerships with clubs, associations and pathways.
• Coordinate tournaments, carnivals and representative opportunities.
• Promote the Academy within the College and community.
• Manage resources, facilities and budgets with a focus on student wellbeing.
