Job summary

Cardijn College Marian Campus in Noarlunga Downs is seeking a Basketball Coordinator who will lead the Basketball Academy and provide strategic and instructional leadership for students in Years 7-12. You will coach, mentor, and collaborate with staff, clubs and pathways, while managing resources, budgets and programs to deliver a high-quality sporting and learning experience.

This role supports safeguarding, Catholic ethos, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative leadership

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with permanent appointment in SA.
• Accreditation with Catholic Education SA or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Basketball Academy program and curriculum.
• Provide coaching, mentorship and leadership development for students.
• Support Basketball Academy teaching staff with collaboration, professional learning and curriculum development.
• Develop partnerships with clubs, associations and high-performance pathways.
• Coordinate tournaments, carnivals, exchanges and representative opportunities.
• Promote the Academy within the College and community.
• Manage Academy resources, facilities and budgets.
• Ensure student wellbeing, safeguarding and duty of care across activities.
