Job summary

Wards Central Dining in Shenton Park is seeking an experienced barista to join our friendly team. This casual role starts with 10–20 hours per week, with shifts across Monday to Sunday and potential to move to full time for the right candidate.

You will prepare outstanding specialty coffee with well-pulled shots and latte art, deliver warm customer service, keep the station tidy, and work closely with front‑of‑house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven barista experience.
• Confident with espresso machines, grinders and milk steaming.
• Friendly, customer-first approach.
• RSA certification or ability to obtain one.
• Reliable with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso drinks to standard.
• Deliver friendly, attentive service.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked station.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
