Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect for a Brisbane-based role. The contract is initially six months with a view to extension. The position involves shaping architecture standards across cloud, security and collaboration platforms.

You will lead architecture activities for major transformations, work with Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, and collaborate with cyber security teams to ensure governance and risk compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering infrastructure and/or solution architecture for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft 365 and .NET platforms.
• Experience with integration architecture, APIs, middleware and data exchange models.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define infrastructure architecture standards, roadmaps and target-state designs across cloud, network, security, identity and end-user computing.
• Lead solution and infrastructure architecture activities for major transformation programs and enterprise initiatives.
• Design resilient, secure and highly available infrastructure platforms leveraging Azure/M365 technologies.
• Provide architecture governance, design assurance and technical leadership across project teams.
• Drive integration outcomes including APIs, middleware and secure data exchange models.
• Develop reference architectures, design patterns and technology standards to reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security to ensure alignment with security and risk requirements.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate technologies and guide implementation.
• Support modernization initiatives including identity management, cloud migration and platform optimisation.
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, solution designs, roadmaps and transition plans.
